Discovery flight I: For $99.99, we'll give you an exciting glimpse into what's to come! This flight consists of a thirty minute orientation followed by a thirty minute local flight over Orange County where you take the controls!

Discovery flight II: For $149.99, our flight instructor will become your "tour guide in the sky" as you take the controls for the first time! You'll see an awe-striking view of the Hudson Valley for a full hour of flight after your thirty minute ground orientation! We'll take off from Middletown, NY, climb to three thousand feet, and head north to follow the mountain ridge enroute to Mohonk Mountain.

C150 rates: We currently charge $105.00 ($94.50 for those with prepayment accounts) per hour for our C150, and this price includes fuel. If the renter chooses to refuel at another airfield, the renter will be reimbursed for fuel bought upon checking in after flight. For solo flights (rental only without an instructor), a tax will be added to the total cost of the rental.

Instructor rates: Air and ground instruction is charged on an hourly rate of $55.00 ($49.50 for those with prepayment accounts .)

Prepayment credit options: Sunset Air offers an incentive to those who wish to save money by purchasing services in advance.

The terms are as follows:

10% credit on prepayments of $1000.00 or more

If, for any reason you are unsatisfied with our services, the unused portion of your prepayment account will be fully refundable at termination of training! Please call for more details!
